Exclusive Interview with rapper Che'zye

Duez Planet CEO Uchenna Iwuh popularly known as Che'zye had a chat with Naijafield Blog in this new interview and he opens up about his new projects, his aspiration and more.

1. How long have you been doing what you’re doing and how did you get started in the first place?

Che'zye: I've been into entertainment right from childhood. I was a dancer before then later i Fell in love with music and now we're here

2. Who were the first influences on your music and style?

Che'zye: P'square were the act I looked up to for a very long time but when I switched to rap yung6ix and phenom became my best views

3. In your opinion who is the most influential and successful artist in your genre today and why?

Che'zye: MI Abaga and Banky W
Because they don't brag and flaunt what they have but we all know they have it

4. Do you think your music is mostly enjoyed more for the beat

Che'zye: (Smiles...) No I don't need to brag bro I spit barz (lyrics)
That's why my music is been loved and enjoyed

5.What made you unique as a rapper?

Che'zye: My Originality

6. If you could choose to work with some of today’s established artists or producers, to move your game to the top, with whom would you like to collaborate?

Che'zye: I've got flavour, chidinma and yung6ix in mind all day bro, magnito along side and producer's, I'm aiming at masterkraft, EKelly and chopsticks

7. Being an independent artist, which is the one factor, above all else, that you currently desire most (increased music distribution, better quality production, more media exposure, more club and live performances etc…)?

Che'zye: Lol all is needed bro. for bigger things

8. What in your opinion is the biggest barrier an artist like yourself, has to face and overcome, to gain any commercial success?

Che'zye: A lot, but above all It's (CAPITAL)...financial problems

9. Which promoters will you love to work with?

Che'zye: I don't really have any in mind...but any good artist deserves a better promoter to spray him/her like a disease

10. In closing, tell us something about any projects and ideas you have in store or are already working on and the blog you feel will be okay to anchor it?

Che'zye: Right now am almost done with my EP project... Featured couple of artists in the likes of Yankiss, Durtyboy, Famacy Icebug and J'swissy in few weeks my TCMC VIDEO will be out for my music lovers

And for blogs who are to anchor the project I've got Naijafield Blog  Zion Adebisi blog and Naijabangers also some other lovers and supporters of my work

11. What do you have to tell your fans out there?

Che'zye: Shout out to the streets and the lovers of my music mostly respect to Naijafield for having me on this one I feel honored

And to my fellow fast rising stars out there... They should believe... Work and never doubt their good work...good work will definitely pay someday
