PDP GROUP IN DELTA DENIES BEING INTO FACTION
Members of Save Isoko South PDP group in
Delta South senatorial district of Delta State
yesterday dissociated themselves from either
of the party’s factions, insisting that it is
trying to correct the wrongs from the last PDP
congress across the wards of the council.
In an emergency meeting held in the Local
Government Area which had Chief Etaloku,
Hon M.O.C. Eto, Chief Ukiyho, Chief Oviorie,
Hon Goodluck Idele, Chief Eriri, Chief Otolo
Pius, Chief Sunny Akpotu, Evans Ezo, Mr
Vantus Ogboghro, Mrs Okakoso, Hon Dickson
Egbare, and others in attendance, the group
commended the action of the state
government, Chief Solomon Ogba and Chief
Ross Uredi on their roles in responding to the
group’s cries.
According to the group, some leaders and
other people who claimed to come from
Governor Okowa had started approaching it
for a general meeting towards resolving the
crisis and ensure internal hammonization at
the ward level and later the local government
area.
